Terms of Service

Effective August 25, 2026

These Terms govern your use of Lifecycle Ready. Please read them carefully, particularly Section 2 (this is not professional advice), Section 9-10 (disclaimers and limitation of liability), and Section 11.3 (what happens to your account if you die or become incapacitated).

1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a binding agreement between you and PAM Financial LLC ("PAM Financial," "Lifecycle Ready," "we," "us," or "our") governing your access to and use of the Lifecycle Ready web application at lifecycleready.com (the "Service"). By creating an account or otherwise using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated by reference. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of the Service; Not Professional Advice

Lifecycle Ready is a personal-preparedness and life-organization tool that helps you organize and store information across four areas: Life (documents, insurance, financial and property records, employment information, and credentials), People (contacts, family, advisors, and emergency contacts), Plans (emergency, financial, and household plans), and Legacy (personal wishes, messages, and keepsakes).

Lifecycle Ready is not a law firm, financial advisory firm, insurance agency, or estate-planning service. It does not provide legal, financial, insurance, tax, medical, or estate-planning advice, and it does not generate legal or estate documents (such as wills, trusts, or powers of attorney). Lifecycle Ready is a layer that helps you organize information — it is a complement to, and not a substitute for, the advice of a qualified attorney, financial advisor, insurance professional, or other licensed professional. Nothing in the Service should be construed as professional advice, and you should not rely on the Service as a substitute for consulting appropriate professionals about your specific situation. You are solely responsible for the accuracy, completeness, and legal effect of any information you store or plans you create using the Service.

3. Eligibility and Account Registration

You must be at least 18 years old and capable of forming a binding contract to create an account. You agree to provide accurate and complete registration information and to keep it up to date. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us promptly at privacy@lifecycleready.com if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.

4. The Sharing Feature and Your Responsibility for People You Invite or Add

The Service includes features that let you invite other people to view your data, and let you store information about people who are not Lifecycle Ready users. Both come with responsibilities described below.

4.1 Inviting Others (Grants)

The Service allows you to invite other people to view some or all of your data through our "Grant" system, at the whole-account, single-pillar, or single-item level. You are solely responsible for deciding who to invite, at what scope, and for how long. You may revoke access at any time, but you are responsible for the consequences of any access a grantee had before revocation. Do not invite anyone you do not trust with the scope of data you are granting.

4.2 Storing Information About Other People

The People pillar and other parts of the Service let you store personal information about individuals other than yourself (family members, contacts, advisors, executors, caregivers, and message recipients). By adding information about another person, you represent that you have an appropriate basis to do so (such as a personal, family, or professional relationship, or that person's consent) and that you are responsible for the accuracy of that information and for responding to that person if they object to or request removal of their information. Lifecycle Ready is not responsible for verifying your relationship to, or basis for storing information about, any third party you add.

4.3 Referral Invitations

You may invite people with whom you have a genuine personal or professional relationship to try Lifecycle Ready. You may not use referral invitations for bulk messaging, unsolicited commercial email, harassment, misleading claims, self-referrals, or attempts to manipulate a future reward program. Referral eligibility requires a new account using the invited email address and completed email verification. Sending an invitation does not guarantee a reward, and any future reward terms will be stated separately before rewards are offered.

5. Subscription Plans, Billing, and Cancellation

Lifecycle Ready offers a free 'Starter' tier and paid 'Ready' and 'Family' subscription tiers with additional features. Current plan details and pricing are available on the Service.

5.2 Payment Processing

All payment collection is handled by our payment processor, Stripe, Inc., through Stripe's own hosted Checkout and Customer Portal. Lifecycle Ready does not receive or store your full card number. By subscribing to a paid tier, you agree to Stripe's terms of service in addition to these Terms.

5.3 Billing Cycle and Cancellation

Paid subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless canceled before the renewal date. You may cancel at any time through the Customer Portal or by contacting us; cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period, and you will retain access to paid features through that period.

5.4 Refunds

Our default policy, pending business confirmation, is that fees already paid are non-refundable, and we do not provide partial refunds or credits for unused time when you cancel mid-cycle. This is a placeholder reflecting a reasonable default policy — it should be confirmed as the intended practice, including whether any exceptions (e.g., statutory rights, trial periods, or discretionary refunds) should be stated.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any account, data, or system
  • Upload malicious code or attempt to disrupt or overburden the Service
  • Reverse-engineer, scrape, or attempt to extract the Service's underlying software
  • Use the Service to store or transmit content that infringes another person's rights, is defamatory, or violates applicable law
  • Misuse the sharing/Grant feature to gain access to another person's account or data without authorization

6.1 Enforcement

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate this Section.

7. Your Content: Ownership and License

You own the content you upload or enter into the Service (documents, notes, file attachments, People pillar records, Plans, Legacy content, and any other information you provide) ("User Content"). We do not claim ownership of your User Content.

By submitting User Content, you grant Lifecycle Ready a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, store, process, transmit, and display your User Content solely as necessary to (a) operate and provide the Service to you, (b) display it back to you, and (c) display it to any grantee to whom you have granted access under Section 4.1. This license ends when your User Content is deleted from our systems, except to the extent copies persist in routine backups for a limited period or as otherwise required to comply with law.

8. Intellectual Property

The Service itself — including its software, design, text, graphics, logos, and the "Lifecycle Ready" name and marks — is owned by PAM Financial LLC or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. Except for the limited right to use the Service as permitted by these Terms, no rights are granted to you in our intellectual property.

9. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, that any defects will be corrected, or that the Service will meet your requirements.

As stated in Section 2, the Service does not provide legal, financial, insurance, tax, medical, or estate-planning advice, and is not a substitute for consultation with a qualified professional. You are solely responsible for decisions you make based on your use of the Service, including decisions relating to your estate, finances, insurance, or legal affairs.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL PAM FINANCIAL LLC, ITS OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, OR AGENTS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF, OR INABILITY TO USE, THE SERVICE, WHETHER BASED ON WARRANTY, CONTRACT, TORT, OR ANY OTHER LEGAL THEORY, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR (B) ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($100).

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations of liability, so some of the above limitations may not apply to you.

11. Account Termination; Death or Incapacity of an Account Holder

11.1 Termination by You

You may stop using the Service and request deletion of your account at any time by contacting privacy@lifecycleready.com (or, where available, through your account settings).

11.2 Termination by Us

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, if required by law, or if we discontinue the Service, with notice where reasonably practicable.

11.3 Death or Incapacity of an Account Holder

The Legacy pillar is designed to help you record wishes and messages relevant to your death or incapacity, and the Plans pillar is designed to help others act on your behalf in an emergency. However, please understand the current, real limits of the Service: Lifecycle Ready does not have an automated, verified process to detect your death or incapacity, and does not automatically unlock, transfer, or deliver your account or its contents upon your death or incapacity. Delivery of Legacy messages today is handled manually by our team on request, not automatically.

If you want to ensure someone can access your Lifecycle Ready account or specific information after your death or incapacity, you should proactively grant that person access using the sharing (Grant) feature while you are able to do so, and separately provide for access to your account in your estate-planning documents (such as a will or power of attorney) prepared with a qualified attorney.

A person who believes they are entitled to access a deceased or incapacitated user's account (such as an executor or agent under a power of attorney) may contact us at privacy@lifecycleready.com; we will evaluate such requests on a case-by-case basis and may require legal documentation, but we do not guarantee that access will be granted or that data will be preserved indefinitely.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles, and without regard to the United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods.

13. Dispute Resolution

Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall first be attempted to be resolved informally by contacting privacy@lifecycleready.com. If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, it may be brought in the state or federal courts located in the State of Texas, and you consent to the exclusive jurisdiction and venue of those courts.

This draft does not include a mandatory-arbitration or class-action-waiver clause. Many consumer software companies include one (requiring disputes to go through individual binding arbitration rather than court, and waiving participation in class actions). Whether to add one is a business decision with real tradeoffs, best made with counsel.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may modify these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email and/or by posting a notice within the Service before the change takes effect. Your continued use of the Service after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

15. Miscellaneous

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full effect. Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of that provision. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign these Terms in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Service.
